Born in Champagne, France, Edouard is no stranger to fine wine. Winning the 2005 Mumm Sommelier competition set him on a path to success. He’s poured high-end bottles at the Parisian Palace Hôtel de Crillon “Restaurant Les Ambassadeurs” which launched his career in Michelin star restaurants.
His ambition and attention to detail opened the opportunity to become head sommelier for Daniel Boulud in NYC over the past decade. Edouard leads exclusive tastings in NY for top financial firms and galleries, while curating wine cellars and private wine collections for Wall Street Executives and Fortune 500 CEO’s. He frequently donates time to fundraisers for local charities, and can be found on zoom, tasting fine wines from Beaujolais to Bordeaux.
Since May 2018, Edouard has been the Wine Director of Pressoir.wine, a platform created by Daniel Johnnes, founder of La Paulée de New York, that specializes in fine wine services, from cellar advisory to wine tastings, winemakers interviews and wine classes.
